Jonathan Schochor is the managing senior partner of Schochor, Federico and Staton.
Jonathan is a member of several Bar Associations, including the Bar Association of the District of Columbia; the Maryland State Bar, where he was selected to serve on the Special Committee on Tort Reform; the Bar Association of Baltimore City, where he served on the Legislative Committee; and also served on the Medico-Legal Tort joint committee for both the Maryland State and Baltimore City Bar Associations. He was also selected to serve on the Civil Docket Management System Task Force for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. His memberships extend to the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, the American Judicial Society and the American Board of Trial Advocates where he was selected to be a member.
Jonathan has taught and lectured both locally and nationally in the fields of medical negligence and trial law for medical groups, as well as various legal organizations. He has testified before the Maryland Legislature on issues involving law, medicine and tort reform, and has been asked to speak on various radio and television programs on the subjects of law, medicine, tort reform and physician discipline.
He is a graduate of the American University School of Law, where he was the associate editor-in-chief of the Law Review. He is a previous president of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and the Maryland State Delegate and Governor to the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
